Raya Capital :

In an active response to the developments witnessed in the Syrian economy, and the changes and shifts in both the financial and banking sectors, Phoenix Group has established ‘Raya Capital’, a merger between a number of respected talents and expertise in the region, to provide the following services:

- Al Sham Shipping company :

Phoenix is a major shareholder in Al Sham shipping company, the biggest sea shipping company in Syria. The company's purpose, according to its Articles of Association, is to own and/or charter all types of vessels, in order to be involved in all maritime transport activities. The company's founders have a strong commitment to high standards, and to improve the profile of Syrian shipping, in particular within the wider context of the Arab maritime world.

- Gastronomy Foodstuff :

A trading establishment specialized in food material in general, but in Syrian products in particular. As it exports traditional Syrian products, such as Baklawa, Barazek and Damascene sweets, to the UAE, along with Syrian handicrafts. The company is the exclusive representative of the famous “Muhana” products in the UAE

- Flavors International :

A management company specialized in restaurant and tourism’ project management. The company marked its beginning by the end of 2004 with the opening of its flagship restaurant ‘Boulevard’ in Damascus, Syria, which proved to be a remarkable success as ‘Boulevard’ is regarded today as one of the top famous luxury restaurants in the Syrian Capital. Currently, new plans are being finalized for several projects to take off in 2007 in both Syria and the UAE.

- Cornerstone Real Estate :

Cornerstone is a professional and dynamic Abu Dhabi-based company, which provides high-level expertise in real estate and allied services. Cornerstone has two branches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The legend of the Phoenix has been around for centuries: The Phoenix is a supernatural creature, living for 500 years. Once its life span is over, the Phoenix builds its own funeral pyre, and throws itself into the flames. As it dies, it is reborn anew, and rises from the ashes to live another 500 years. The Phoenix was the symbol of the great civilization of Phoenician people who lived in the East Mediterranean around 4000 BC and spread throughout the Mediterranean area, which was then known as the Phoenician Sea.
